Discover how to reinstall your Operating System if you chose the wrong one or want to start over. This applies to our VPS and Dedicated Server products

1. Login and navigate to the Client Panel for Sonoran Servers.
2. Select the VPS service you would like to reinstall from your list of active services.
3. Scroll down and select the "Install" tab from the VPS Control Panel.
4. Select the Operating System you would like to install and then choose the version you want of that particular OS.
5. Provide a STRONG password and retype it. This will be your password to access the VPS and not your Sonoran Servers account. Your server will be accessible from the internet unless you lock it down further yourself. Please make sure to provide a very secure password that is not used anywhere else.
6. Confirm the reinstallation by clicking the "Reinstall" button.
Your VPS may take some time to reinstall (1-10 minutes usually). You can track its progress in the "Tasks and Logs" tab in this same VPS Control Panel.
1. Login and navigate to the Client Panel for Sonoran Servers.
2. Select the Dedicated Server you would like to reinstall from your list of active services.
3. Scroll down to the Dedicated Server Control Panel and Select the Operating Sysyem "Profile" you would like to install.
4. The Window will expand after selecting the OS "Profile". Select the "Edition" of the OS, in most cases, there is only one option. Leave the License Key Blank if choosing Windows Server as we provide the license automatically.
5. A message will pop up and ask you for the password you would like to set for the OS. Please provide a STRONG password or generate one. This will be your password to access the Dedicated Server and not your Sonoran Servers account. Your server will be accessible from the internet unless you lock it down further yourself. Please make sure to provide a very secure password that is not used anywhere else.
Your Will take some time to reinstall (5-15 minutes usually). You can track its progress at the bottom of your Dedicated Server Control Panel as pictured below.
