What are Application Filters?

Applications filters are advanced network filters specific to the program running on a specified port. These filters can detect unwanted attack traffic to your game server, voice server, etc. and sanitize it before reaching your server.

Getting Started with Application Filters

1. Select the Desired Filter

  • Select Add Filter

  • Select your Application

2. Configure your Filter

Each filter will have different configuration values for the application. This example shows us specifying the IP and Port used for a Minecraft server.

NOTE: All traffic on Sonoran Servers is Symmetric with Path.Net for full use of their application filters
